A couple of weeks ago I bought a new commuter/hybrid bike to use for tooling around
with kiddo. The Trek Atwood is my compromise between going for
casual rides and maybe doing some commuting to work and back without the need for cleats and
skins. It's not as casual as a fixed-gear cruiser — I wanted a range of gears to help me ride
apace with the six year-old and be versatile enough to handle the hilly environment between
home and office. Plus I like it's retro look. With an added toe clips and rack on the back,
I'm pretty satisfied with the purchase.
